a piece of my childhood

If your first Zelda game was for Wii, or N64, or even SNES.. you’re missing out. You’re also less of a nerd than me. But hey, if you love Zelda and you love dubstep (the good, melodic kind, not brostep) you just might love this too.

I’m sorry..

I’ve had this song in my collection for a few months, used it in a mix and listened to it dozens of times. Yet every time I come across it again (I just did while sorting through my moombah playlist in ITCH) it hits me so hard it gives me goosebumps.

changes! moving to a real host

I’ve been hosting this on my own box at home for the past few months and it’s time to move to a real host (which will be happening today). I <3 linode.

hunkE & LocalNorth – NorthernLights EP

My brother, who goes by the name of hunkE (soundcloud, Facebook) just dropped his first EP with a rapper from Brookyln by the name of LocalNorth (soundcloud, Facebook).

Hip-hop is far from my first genre (but quickly becoming one of my favourites) but I think I know it well enough to say that these two are onto something. Don’t just take my word for it.. grab the EP and enjoy 5 fine fresh new tracks from a couple of up-and-comers. Spread it around while you’re at it so you can brag you knew about these guys before they make it big :D

Well, I did a booboo. I backed up my wordpress site’s flat files, rebuilt my webserver..and then remembered that I probably should have backed up the MYSQL databases as well.

Woops.

So there’s going to be nothing on here for a bit while I sort things out.. and then I don’t know if I’m going to rebuild what I had before or just start from scratch.

Anyways, that’s what’s up. Podcast will be back..probably with new episodes. I wanted to start over with an incremental naming system anyways, maybe a new name for the podcast itself.

TLDR: I’m a genius.
