MP3toMIDI

· Android, music

MP3toMIDI is a “proof of concept” idea I had where I wondered whether I could automate splitting stems from a real song and turning that into a decent MIDI file. So far the results are.. interesting, but nowhere near good. The files tend to be too busy to be enjoyable but the original song is usually recognisable.

Orange Pi USB MIDI Host

· music, OrangePi

I was looking for a way to get my Deluge to play nice with other USB MIDI devices while waiting for the 3.0 firmware to come out. I happened to have an Orange Pi +2E laying around, knew that this had been done with a Raspberry Pi, and thought “how hard could this be?”
